Like a soda pop left open all night, Bueller seems to have lost its effervescence over time. Sure, Matthew Broderick is still appealing as the perennial truant, Ferris, who fakes his parents out and takes one memorable day off from school. Jeffrey Jones is nasty and scheming as the principal who's out to catch him. Jennifer Grey is winning as Ferris's sister (who ends up making out in the police station with a prophetic vision of Charlie Sheen). But there's a definite sense that this film was of a particular time frame: the '80s. It's still fun, though. There's Ferris singing "Twist and Shout" during a Chicago parade, and a lovely sequence in the Art Institute. But don't get it and expect your kids to love it the way you did.     Un film divertente, senza mai un calo nel ritmo, con personaggi memorabili (in particolare Cameron, migliore amico di Ferris, pieno di complessi ed insicurezze). Secondo me il migliore titolo di Hughes, con alcune riprese indimenticabili, come quella nel museo e la corsa di Ferris verso casa nel tentativo di anticipare i genitori. Anche la colonna sonora è all'altezza. E' stato un film culto della mia adolescenza. In questa edizione UK c'è anche l'audio in italiano e non è affatto male l'apparato di extra. Consigliatissimo!!

    "Ferris macht Blau" heißt im Original "Ferris Buellers Day Off" und entstand 1986 unter der Regie von John Hughes. Bei seinem Kinostart war der Teeniefilm sehr erfolgreich und landete sogar im Jahresranking der erfolgreichsten Kinofilme auf Platz 10.

    Darüberhinaus gelang es diesem sehr warmherzigen Coming of Age Filme sehr schnell zu einem absoluten Kultfilm zu avancieren. Der Film hat viel Humor und genauso viel Tiefgang. Im Grunde ist diese Highschool-Comedy eine gut funktionierende Selbstmordprävention, denn der Held der Geschichte - Ferris Bueller - versucht seinem Freund zu helfen, notwendiges Selbstwertgefühl zu erlangen.

    Ferris wird gespielt von Matthew Broderick (bekannt aus War Games). Dieser Ferris hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht Cameron zu zeigen, dass die ganze Welt vor ihm an ihm vorbeizieht, wenn er weiterhin Angst davor hat. Cameron wird von Alan Ruck gespielt. Die dritte Haupfigur der Geschichte ist Freundin Sloane Peterson, die er mit viel List und Tricks vom Unterricht befreien kann. Gegenspieler von Ferris ist einerseits der despotische Schuldirektor Ed Rooney (Jeffrey Jones) und Ferris eigene eifersüchtige Schwester Jeanie (Jennifer Grey).

    Ferris lebt bei seinen Eltern (Cindi Pickett, Lyman Ward) in einem Vorort von Chicago. Der Junge ist vermutlich der beliebteste Schüler überhaupt, jedermann scheint ihn zu kennen und extrem zu mögen. Ferris liebt das Leben und obwohl er einen Monat vor dem Schulabschluß steht und lernen müsste, hat er heute beschlossen der Schule fernzubleiben. Er täuscht seinen Eltern eine Krankheit vor und sein Plan funktioniert, weil Vater und Mutter ihm glauben Schenken. Er solle bloß im Bett liegen bleiben, sich auskurieren bis beide gegen Abend von der Arbeit zurückkommen. Der Schuldirektor Ed Rooney misstraut Ferris, denn der Junge hat in diesem Schuljahr schon 9 Tage wegen angeblicher Krankheit gefehlt. Er sieht es als seine heilige Mission an den Schulschwänzer an diesem Tag zu entlarven, so dass dieser ein Jahr wiederholen müsste.

    Doch Ferris wäre nicht Ferris, wenn er nicht einen zündenden Plan in der Tasche hätte und nicht alle unvorhersehbaren Komplikationen mit eingeplant hätte. Die Eltern sind aus dem Haus und schon wird sein bester Freund Cameron angerufen, damit der so schnell wie möglich vorbei kommen soll. Cameron ist hypochondrisch und leidet darunter, dass sich seine Eltern (besonders sein Dad) nicht um ihn kümmern. Ferris überredet Cameron, dass sie den 1961er Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder von Camerons Vater für den heutigen Ausflug ausleihen müssen. Natürlich muss Ferris seinem Freund hoch und heilig versprechen, dass das Auto am Abend wieder in der Garage steht, ohne das der Vater bemerkt, dass mit seinem Lieblingsobjekt herumgefahren wurde. Nun muss noch Sloane (Mia Sara) vom Unterricht befreit werden. Dies geschieht durch ein Telefonat - Cameron muss seine Stimme verstellen und sich als Sloanes Vater ausgeben. "Die Oma ist verstorben" und Sloane soll deswegen sofort nach Hause kommen. Nun gehts mit dem teuren Schlitten nach Chicago, wo die drei Teenager einen tollen Tag verbringen. Sie besuchen den Sears Tower, die Börse, ein feines französischen Restaurant, das Art Institute of Chicago Museum, ein Baseball Spiel und als Höhepunkt den deutsch-amerikanischen Steuben Umzug, der an diesem Tag in Chicago stattfindet. Währenddessen wandelt der Direktor auf den Spuren von Dirty Harry - er muss dem Schüler Ferris das Handwerk legen...

    Natürlich gibt es allerhand Komplikationen. Das Credo dieses schönen Films lautet: Genieße das Leben, sei froh, dass Du jung bist und hab einfach Spass. Diese Botschaft vermittelt Hughes auf eine sehr schöne unschuldige Art und am Ende des Tages hat der verbotene Ausflug vor allem bei Cameron wie ein Heilmittel gewirkt. Hughes gelang ein sehr lebensbejahender Film und sicherlich einer der großen Highlights des typischen 80er Jahre Films. Hughes scheint das Lebensgefühl der Jugendlichen in den Achtzigern perfekt getroffen zu haben: Schule schwänzen, Ärger mit Lehrern und Eltern und natürlich die Liebe gehören zu seinen Lieblingsthemen.

    Ferris Bueller élève en terminale, décide par une belle journée de printemps de sécher le lycée en se faisant porter malade pour la 9ème fois et d'en profiter pour se faire une virée dans Chicago accompagné de sa petite amie et de son meilleur pote . Ne pas oublier les seconds rôles : Jeffrey Jones en surveillant looser irrésistible et sa secrétaire complètement à la masse, les parents de Ferris (complètement largués) en passant par un prof d'économie neurasthénique (Ben Stein), de la soeur de Ferris (Jennifer Grey), et d'autres formidables acteurs (les 2 irrésistibles loueurs de voitures, le chef de rang exagérément maniéré du restaurant huppé, Charlie Sheen en teenager camé complètement à l'ouest etc .. ) . Cerise sur le gâteau une super BO et la réalisation du regretté John Hugues qui permet à Ferris Bueller de s'adresser à la caméra en nous prenant à témoin de ses actes . Bref un film qui a tout bon !!!!!! Concernant le BR, belle image, bon son et de chouettes bonus !
