Addictive and yummy nut spread!
Nutella is very tasty over toast, on apple slices, or even right out of the jar. It has the same consistency as peanut butter. Just make sure to exercise restraint because it contains a lot of calorie-dense ingredients. Each serving (2 tbsp) is 200 calories (100 from fat) and contains 21 g of sugar. In fact, the first ingredient is sugar, then palm oil and hazelnuts. The labels says there are over 50 hazelnuts in here. I find the sugar content overly sweet and it could be dialed down a bit, but that just means I have to use less of the spread.The jar is type-1 plastic (PETE) and commonly recyclable.

    I absolutely love this product. Nutella is one of my weaknesses. I used to eat this in Argentina and when I moved to the US I missed it so much I looked for it everywhere. After a few years, Nutella has become more readily available in grocery stores and buying it through Amazon is no longer necessary. Right now, buying it at a grocery store is about $1 a container cheaper, so I would seriously advise people to check their local stores first.

    I have to say, Nutella here does taste a lot sweeter than it did back home, and it tastes more like chocolate than hazelnut but it is still really yummy.

    For the people who have never had this:

    This is a very sweet hazelnut and chocolate spread. It tastes a lot like chocolate, but there are definitely hints of hazel nut to it. If you like sweet milk chocolate, I would almost guarantee you will like this. If you are more of a salty food kind of person, or like sweet things but not extremely so, find a way to try it first.
    If you compare it with Almond butter (the one I have handy right now) you will find that the sugar only adds about 20 calories a serving, not as much as some people might fear. And if you have a child that hates breakfast, you should try giving them this one whole grain toast or waffles. The flavor of whole grain combines really well with the flavor of nutella, and I prefer it like this than with white toast. So it could end up being a really good breakfast treat. It has a lot less sodium than Almond butter, but also only 1/3 of the protein it. I wouldn't really recommend it as a significant source of protein. If you are looking at it as a substitute for Peanut butter or Almond butter, this is more about the fact that it will make your kid (or yourself) eat other stuff that is healthy by making things like whole grain yummy, than a good source of protein that could support you or your child as breakfast on its own.

    The options on what to put this on are endless and there are TONS of recipes out there with it, check them out. My husband made some smores with this instead of chocolate and they were AMAZING!.

The unique smooth blend of the chocolate flavor with this hazel nut spread makes this product have a more interesting, sophisticated, and more satisfying taste than peanut butter, especially for the adult palate. One devout wish: would love to see a "chunky-style" version of Nutella manufactured.

    Amazon's five-pak packaging of five 13.5 oz. jars offers additional savings [per ounce] over its individually priced 13.5 oz. jars [or even over its 26.5 oz. 2-pak], although when compared with individual jar pricing of this product at warehouse grocery departments and at super-sized grocery chains, the value of the Amazon pricing is diminished or even surpassed by these sores. Yet, free delivery to one's door adds convenience and makes Amazon's 5-pak pricing slightly more attractive.

    UPDATE: Unfortunately, we soon discovered that three of these 5 jars had freshness seals that were not fully affixed or had come loose when packaged or when in transit. Amazon promptly replaced the entire order of 5 jars: this second shipment of 5 jars of Nutella actually arrived with the freshness seals of all five jars intact.

    Let me clarify why I only gave this two stars. I love Nutella and for taste I give it 5 stars. However, the best buy date on these five jars is April - only two months away. Somehow I don't see myself using 5 jars in two months. I think this is poor business practice on the part of the seller.

    I bought NUTELLA because I am a lover of hazelnuts. Unfortunately, Nutella leaves much to be desired.

    I intended to use the product on my morning toast but that was a mistake. The product is evidently made & packed in Canada.
    The clear plastic container is certainly adequate, but the white plastic lid is a disaster waiting to happen. The white plastic is very thin, very brittle, and definitely prone to shattering if mis-handled or dropped. The shipping carton had no signs of damage and that tells me that the clear plastic bag and contents had to have been dropped - causing the lids to shatter - some time before being placed in the shipping carton (which tells me that there is a major flaw in your pre-shipping inspection system).

    I sampled the product on receipt and was disappointed to discover that the flavor of the product was made up almost entirely of the principal ingredient, sickeningly sweet sugar, followed by the strong cocoa flavor of the second ingredient. The Canadian
    contract packer evidently forgot to include the hazelnuts because there was no sense that there had ever been a nut product any
    where close to the spread!

    Disappointing, and FERRERO needs to get their act together! The labels claim 48 hazelnuts in each plastic jar, but I am afraid that 47 hazelnuts must have got away at some point. I discarded the product into the trash.
